Konsert: Young Talents – Ukraine

Sommaren börjar lida mot sitt slut och det är dags att göra sig redo för höstsäsongens första evenemang! I samarbete med Steinway Piano Gallery presenterar Ukrainska Institutet i Sverige “Young Talents: Ukraine”. Tre unga framtida stjärnor från olika delar av Ukraina kommer att möta er på en konsert med pianosolo och kammarmusik, med såväl känd repertoar (e.g. Bach och Beethoven) som ukrainsk musik.

Nazar Plyska (14 years old)

Nazar Plyska started playing the violin at the age of 5, and has since then won numerous competitions, both national and international. These include: I Prize in the International competition “Kaunas Sonorum”; (Lithuania, 2015); 1st Prize in the 5th International Music Competition in Stockholm (Sweden, 2016); 1st Prize in the International Competition “101 Genius Competitions 2016-17”; 2nd prize in Violin’s talents in Poznan (Poland, 2018). In 2015-2016 Nazar was a participant of the Lusławice Talents Orchestra (The Krzysztof Penderecki European Centre for Music, Lusławice, Poland), with which he recorded a CD and a DVD. He also plays solo with orchestra, a trio and a quartet with which he won the first prize at the National Forum of Young Instrumentalists. Since 2016 he is a scholarship holder of the National Children’s Fund.

Anna Nebaba (13 years old)

Anna was born in the city of Donetsk, but after the war began in eastern Ukraine moved with her family to Kiev. In 2015, she began studying piano at the M. Lysenko Specialized Secondary Music Boarding School in the class of Professor Nataliia Tolpygo. Anna is a laureate of several international competitions, such as: 2nd prize in the XI International competition for young pianists in memory of Vladimir Horowitz (2016); 1st prize in the VII Tbilisi international Contest for young pianists (2017); 2nd prize in the XII international competition for young pianists in memory of Vladimir Horowitz (2018). 

Oleksandr Fediurko (8 years old)

Oleksandr began studying in a music school in Kyiv at the age of 5. His first piano competition was “Piano Talents” in Milan, Italy (2016), where he won 1st prize. He also won 2nd prize at Grotrian-Steinweg International Piano Competition in Braunschweig, Germany (2017); 2nd prize at International Competition for young piano players “Amadeus”, Brno, Czech Republic (2017); 1st prizes at Volodymyr Krainev Piano Competition in Kharkiv, Ukraine and Vladimir Horowitz Piano Competition in Kyiv (2018). He also took part in the concert “Wunderkinder” in Italy (2017)
