In solidarity with Ukraine, Konserthuset Stockholm together with EUNIC Stockholm, the Ukrainian Institute in Sweden and the European Commission Representation in Sweden, is pleased to announce that the National Chamber Ensemble “Kyiv Soloists” will perform in Stockholm in a concert organised to support Ukraine through humanitarian help. All revenue from ticket sales and funds raised with the help of Radiohjälpen will be donated to relief organisations in Ukraine. The concert will be followed by performances in various concert halls across Sweden, i.a. Uppsala, Gothenburg, Vara. EUNIC Stockholm stands behind the initiative.
The National Chamber Ensemble “Kyiv Soloists” is the realisation of a long-standing dream of outstanding Ukrainian violinist and teacher Bogodar Kotorovych (1941-2009). The orchestra upholds Ukrainian traditions and is composed of renowned musicians from all over Ukraine, most of whom are winners of national and international competitions. EUNIC Stockholm brings together European Cultural Institutes and Embassies accredited to Sweden, and organises a series of projects aiming at building trust and understanding among European citizens through culture.
