Ukrainian Institute of Sweden, founded 2014, fills the huge gap in knowledge and understanding about Ukraine through culture and other events. It is a gathering platform for both Swedes and Ukrainians, raising awareness about Ukraine’s meaningful cultural heritage and rich cultural life. We work to strengthen Swedish -Ukrainian cultural connections. We believe that true knowledge about each other and cultural cooperation are the central elements of our society’s resistance to any future threat. Our role is unique ─ we are the only Ukraine-centered organization that for eight years has been an associated member of European Union National Institutes for Culture (Stockholm cluster), and within this network we have become an integrated part of the European cultural scene.
